Acceptable Use Policy

1. Overview
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of the RCKSTRT platform and associated services ("Service"), including the workspace, project intake flows, partnership and creator program tools, AI-assisted features, payment systems, file sharing, and communications. This AUP is incorporated into and forms part of the RCKSTRT Terms of Service.
By using the Service, you agree to comply with this AUP, the Terms of Service, the Privacy Policy, the Payment and Refund Policy, and all applicable laws and regulations.
Violations of this AUP may result in warnings, temporary suspension, permanent account termination, and referral to law enforcement where appropriate.
2. Permitted Uses
You may use the Service to:
- submit project briefs, requirements, and related materials to initiate a project engagement;
- manage your account, workspace, files, approvals, and billing within the platform;
- communicate with the RCKSTRT studio team through platform messaging and email;
- participate in the partnership, creator, or referral programs if you are approved for those programs;
- review project status, milestones, deliverables, and payment history; and
- use any AI-assisted features within the platform for their intended purpose of project planning and requirement gathering.
3. Prohibited Conduct
3.1 Illegal Activities
You may not use the Service to engage in or facilitate any illegal activity, including:
- fraud, identity theft, money laundering, or financial crimes;
- violation of export control laws or use of the Service from or for jurisdictions under applicable sanctions programs (including U.S. OFAC-sanctioned countries or parties);
- bribery, corruption, or violation of anti-kickback laws;
- unlawful discrimination or harassment based on protected characteristics; or
- any activity that violates applicable federal, state, local, or international law or regulation.
3.2 Intellectual Property Infringement
You may not use the Service to:
- submit, upload, or request work that infringes copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, or other intellectual property rights of any third party;
- request RCKSTRT to copy, replicate, or reproduce proprietary third-party software, code, designs, or content without proper authorization;
- misrepresent ownership of project materials you submit; or
- distribute, reproduce, or create derivative works from RCKSTRT's platform, tools, templates, or deliverables in ways not permitted under your project or partnership agreement.
3.3 Harmful or Malicious Software
You may not use the Service to develop, request, distribute, or facilitate:
- malware, ransomware, spyware, adware, trojans, or other malicious software;
- code designed to disrupt, disable, or gain unauthorized access to systems, networks, or accounts;
- automated bots, scrapers, or tools designed to abuse or circumvent Service limits;
- software designed to harvest credentials, personal data, or private information without user consent; or
- exploits, payloads, or tools designed for unauthorized penetration, attack, or surveillance.
3.4 Unauthorized Access
You may not:
- request RCKSTRT to access, integrate with, or build features interacting with systems, accounts, databases, APIs, or codebases that you do not own or have explicit written authorization to use;
- attempt to access other users' accounts, data, or workspaces;
- probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service or any system connected to it without prior written authorization from RCKSTRT; or
- bypass, circumvent, or attempt to defeat authentication, access controls, rate limits, or security measures of the Service.
3.5 Platform Abuse
You may not:
- scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Service using automated means without express written permission;
- submit false, misleading, or fabricated project briefs, creator profiles, or identity information;
- create multiple accounts for the purpose of circumventing restrictions or obtaining benefits you would not otherwise be eligible for;
- interfere with or disrupt the Service, its infrastructure, or other users' access to the Service;
- overload the Service with excessive requests, automated inputs, or data beyond normal platform usage; or
- introduce, upload, or transmit malicious code, corrupted files, or materials designed to harm the platform or other users.
3.6 Abusive Content
You may not submit, upload, distribute, or request the creation of:
- content that constitutes harassment, threats, or incitement of violence against any individual or group;
- content that is sexually explicit, obscene, or pornographic;
- content that targets or exploits minors;
- content that promotes or glorifies self-harm, eating disorders, or suicide;
- content designed to defame, libel, or harm the reputation of any individual; or
- content promoting hate, discrimination, or violence based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics.
3.7 Restricted Industry and Use Cases
You may not use the Service to develop products or request project work that:
- facilitates illegal gambling, online casinos, or unlicensed lottery services in jurisdictions where prohibited;
- relates to the manufacture, sale, or distribution of illegal drugs, controlled substances, or drug paraphernalia;
- involves unregistered securities offerings, unauthorized investment advice, or fraudulent financial schemes;
- involves cryptocurrency or token schemes designed to deceive investors (e.g., pump-and-dump, rug pulls);
- facilitates trafficking in persons, sex work in jurisdictions where prohibited, or exploitation of vulnerable individuals;
- is designed primarily for deceptive marketing, spam campaigns, or manipulation of search or social platforms; or
- relates to unlicensed firearms, weapons components, or regulated defense items in violation of applicable law.
If your project involves an industry subject to specific regulatory requirements (e.g., healthcare, finance, law), you are responsible for ensuring your project complies with applicable regulations and for disclosing material regulatory constraints in your project brief.
3.8 Referral and Partnership Program Integrity
If you participate in the RCKSTRT referral, creator, or partnership program, you may not:
- generate fake, fraudulent, or self-referrals;
- refer individuals who are not genuine prospective clients;
- use paid advertising, spam, or misleading claims to generate referrals;
- misrepresent your relationship with, or endorsement by, RCKSTRT;
- use referral links in contexts that violate platform-specific rules (e.g., placing referral links in spam);
- attempt to manipulate referral attribution or payout calculations; or
- share confidential partnership terms, payout rates, or internal program details without written authorization.
Violations of referral and partnership program integrity may result in forfeiture of earned credits, suspension from the program, and recovery of improperly obtained payments.
4. AI Feature Standards
If you use AI-assisted features within the Service:
- you are responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving any AI-generated content before using or distributing it;
- you may not use AI features to attempt to generate malicious code, exploit payloads, disinformation, deceptive content, or content that violates this AUP;
- you may not attempt to manipulate AI features to bypass safety guidelines or produce outputs that violate this AUP or applicable law; and
- you accept that AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or legally uncertain, and you remain solely responsible for your reliance on such content.
5. Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials;
- all activity that occurs under your account, whether or not authorized by you;
- promptly notifying RCKSTRT at hi@rckstrt.com if you suspect unauthorized access to or use of your account; and
- ensuring that anyone you authorize to access the Service on your behalf complies with this AUP.
6. Intellectual Property Complaints (DMCA)
6.1 Reporting Infringement
If you believe that content or work on the RCKSTRT platform infringes your copyright, send a written notice to hi@rckstrt.com with the following:
- your full legal name, address, telephone number, and email address;
- identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed (or a representative list if multiple works);
- identification of the material you claim is infringing, with sufficient detail for us to locate it on the Service;
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
- a statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner; and
- your electronic or physical signature.
6.2 Counter-Notification
If you believe your content was removed in error, you may send a counter-notification to hi@rckstrt.com including: your name and contact information, identification of the removed material, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district (or, if outside the U.S., your local jurisdiction). We will process counter-notifications in accordance with applicable law.
6.3 Repeat Infringer Policy
RCKSTRT will terminate accounts of users who are determined to be repeat copyright infringers.
7. Enforcement
7.1 Investigation
We may investigate suspected violations of this AUP at any time. During an investigation, we may temporarily restrict or suspend access to the relevant account or features. You agree to cooperate with any reasonable investigation and to provide requested information within a reasonable timeframe.
7.2 Actions We May Take
Depending on the nature and severity of the violation, we may:
- issue a warning and require remediation of the violating content or conduct;
- temporarily suspend access to specific features or the entire Service;
- permanently terminate your account and all associated project engagements;
- withhold or forfeit referral credits, partnership benefits, or pending payouts;
- retain amounts owed under active project or partnership agreements; and
- report conduct to law enforcement, regulatory authorities, or relevant third parties where required or appropriate.
7.3 Appeals
If you believe your account was suspended or terminated in error, contact hi@rckstrt.com with "AUP Appeal" in the subject line within 30 days of the action. We will review your appeal and respond within a reasonable timeframe. Appeals do not guarantee reinstatement.
8. Reporting Violations
To report suspected violations of this AUP:

Please include as much detail as possible about the suspected violation, including any supporting documentation, screenshots, or other evidence. We will investigate all credible reports.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this AUP from time to time as the platform, programs, and applicable laws evolve. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the platform at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated AUP.
